Can appearance reveal what a person is like?
Hank said in 2007 and early 2011 that looks say nothing about who a person is, and he wants to be judged by what he says and does. Later in 2011 he allowed that chosen signals give cultural cues about who we are, and in 2017 said we can't help judging by looks but should notice we do it.
Axis: yes, appearance tells us something real ... no, looks reveal nothing about character
