Vlogbrothers in 2024
On the channel's 17th anniversary John said he would skip weeks when he didn't want to make a video; Hank simplified the Project for Awesome, which became the largest yet at over $3.5 million. In spring John announced his family's tuberculosis bet in the Philippines, and the Turtles All the Way Down film came out on Max. In June Hank released his cancer comedy special, and John took July off for depression, returning on Esther Day. In late summer both brothers argued about AI training and algorithms; in the autumn John launched Keats & Co. for tuberculosis care and announced his book Everything Is Tuberculosis, while Hank launched a Kickstarter for the Book of Good Times.
