Vlogbrothers in 2022
On the channel's 15th anniversary John raised the goal of Nerdfighteria's Partners In Health project in Kono, Sierra Leone, to $31 million, and in November reported it on pace for over $35 million. In February John mourned his mentor Paul Farmer, and the 15th Project for Awesome raised almost $3 million. From April John filmed from the set of the Turtles All the Way Down movie. Hank named 'the sad gap', where learning about a problem leaves people hopeless, and John answered by choosing priorities and going deep. The brothers launched the Awesome Coffee Club, reunited in Indianapolis for Pizzamas, and ended the year trading worries about AI.
