What is said

The parts of the video and what is said in each (★ — how much it matters to the video).

00:00:00 — The office and why Hank puts things on his walls

  • ★★ Hank has made videos in his office for about eight years without ever showing anyone around, so he gives a tour today. — 00:00:00
  • ★★ Hank says he is hyperactively focused on whatever current problem he is solving and rarely looks back, so he puts things on his walls that remind him of past moments he liked. — 00:00:00
  • ★ Hank shows a piece of art Emily Graslie made for him when she left Missoula. — 00:00:00 · Missoula, Montana

00:00:29 — Tour: posters, bowling pin, badges, X-wing, gaming corner, art, 2007 business card cube

  • ★★ Hank shows the Hank Green and the Perfect Strangers tour poster, the map of the world Titansgrave took place in, and a JoCo Cruise poster signed by JoCo Cruise people. — 00:00:29
  • ★★ Hank shows a bowling pin from when he bowled a 199 in 2013, which complete Vlogbrothers watchers will recognize; he asks others to guess what it is. — 00:00:29 · Vlogbrothers
  • ★ Hank shows business cards he will never look at and a tote full of conference badges, including VidCon London. (playful) — 00:00:29 · VidCon
  • ★★ Hank shows the X-wing he and Katherine built during the long video at whose end they announced they were having a baby. — 00:00:58 · Katherine Green
  • ★★ Hank shows pins from his tour's merch table, sold for $8, and thanks those who understood their meaning. — 00:00:58
  • ★★ Hank once thought he might do a gaming channel, hence the corner, kept because it looks cool; he now has a microscopy station instead, which has brought him tremendous joy. — 00:00:58
  • ★★ Hank shows art from Vi Hart, Star Trek: The Next Generation and They Might Be Giants items, and a Ze Frank ducky, among bobbleheads that keep losing their heads. — 00:01:24
  • ★★ Going far back in Vlogbrothers history, Hank shows the misprinted business card cube from 2007. — 00:01:54 · Vlogbrothers
  • ★★ Hank shows pins collected over the years and a spur he got for doing an event at the University of Texas at Austin; he won't say what is in the chest. — 00:01:54

00:02:17 — Lizzie Bennet Diaries DVDs and anniversary, coins and Crash Course coin prototypes

  • ★★ Hank shows the Lizzie Bennet Diaries DVD set and notes that this month (April 2022) is the 10-year anniversary of the show's first episode. — 00:02:17
  • ★★ Hank says Ashley Clements, who played Lizzie Bennet, is doing a watch-through vlog this year (2022), The Lookback Diaries, and he will be on a few episodes. — 00:02:17

00:03:16 — Mr. Rogers plaid tie, Furbies, Narnia map, first VidCon badge; sign-off

  • ★ Hank says the exclusive prototype coins excite his collector sense: no one knew they existed until now, and nobody can have them. (playful) — 00:03:16 · Crash Course coin
  • ★★ Hank shows a tie in the plaid Mr. Rogers wore, bought for him by their dad, who probably got John one too; he calls him a good dad. — 00:03:16 · Mike Green, John Green

  • ★★ Hank ends with the Kurzgesagt calendar and his first-ever VidCon badge: this is where he spends much of his time. — 00:03:45 · VidCon
