The Awesome Socks Club began at DFTBA in 2016 as a monthly subscription of weird socks and was stopped in 2018 in favour of a quarterly box. Hank and John relaunched it in November 2020 as a charity sock subscription; with its sibling coffee and soap clubs it has raised millions of dollars for maternal and child health care in Sierra Leone.
